Random Things

First of all, let me be very clear. I don’t know what you will read in the following paragraphs. To be very honest, at this very moment, when I am typing these words, I have no clue what I am going to write. All I know is one thing for sure. Life is episodic. There is no doubt about it, but sometimes random things happen, disrupting the sequence. And this post is one such random thing.

Without wasting any more time of yours, I won’t say your precious time, because if it was precious you wouldn’t be here reading my random writings. If you are still here, still wanting to know what it is all about, then I want you to know this, I am deeply humbled. Don’t get me wrong. I am not flattering you. It’s like, you know, all people have suddenly become busy and it’s good to get attention. No, I am not an attention seeker. But an artist. And an artist is no one without his audience. Holy crap! These statements contradict each other. Sorry. I warned you earlier. Things are going to be very random, somewhat senseless in this post.

Wait, that’s it! Eureka!

I know now what I need to write about. Random Things! Oh come on, there can be Stranger Things, why can’t be there Random Things? In that case, Stranger Things is a well brain-stormed, well planned and well-executed series. Random Things, well, just like your life and mine, random kinds of stuff are bound to happen. Totally unscripted and totally unplanned. Well, sometimes we plan stuff, like a Goa trip with our graduation roommates, but that plan never gets executed. If any of my roommates is reading this, just want to say, I’m up for Goa trip. Call me asap.

That’s around 300 words. It’s like a threshold for me. For those who have been reading my tiny tales, Facebook series, short stories, those ebooks I had published, I am really grateful for you. And just for you guys I am going spill some beans. I don’t know why, but whenever I decide to work on some fresh idea, I open my laptop and start typing the first things that pop up in my mind. And somewhere around 300 words, not all, but few things start making sense. Maybe deciding to reveal this aspect of my writing process is an outcome of me crossing 300 words in this post. It can be or it can’t be, or it is just a random thing.

I should stop my post here. Because things have just started making sense, and if I continue to write, the true essence of this post will be lost.

I can’t leave you without being thankful. Somewhere I had read, maybe it was on some random Pinterest post, that our kind, I mean writers, are grateful creatures. So thank you!
