A wise man had once preached, your past is a guide of your future. He was correct. Often people prefer to sit in solitude and attempt to revisit their reminiscences. Not to just evoke jovial moments of their past, but to seek the direction for their difficulties from the mistakes they executed in their ignorance. And, they successfully surfaces with a solution along with a satisfactory smile stretched over their faces. The answers are always inscribed in the pages of past. All we need is to turn that particular leaf which encloses the required moral.
Mistakes are an integral part
of life. One cannot deny this universal truth. But the world bustles with
people with varied visions. There are many who believes if every step of life
is carefully planned, if every act is double-plotted then there would be no
room for mistakes. In that regard, they remain divested from surprises that
life wanted to offer.
So what compels us to perform such blunders?
Some says the reason behind such imprudent behavior is lack of knowledge. Some
blames to their fate claiming it is all predetermined and are destined to
occur. While some believes in one’s perception, the way we see the world and process
our thoughts. So what is the reason? It may be one or all of it.
Henry
David Thoreau, an American philosopher’s words may able to sort out such
confusion. He once quoted, “It is not what you look at that matters, but you
see.” He believed one can enjoy life’s true happiness only by the means of
understanding the real nature of his surroundings, by seeing beyond the material
covering.
A
person’s perception depends upon several factors. One among them is the
circumstances and the way he had been raised up. During his growth he
encounters both types of events – merry and miserable. Either it instils love
or hatred in him and according to it he looks at the world. It is often found
that most criminals had a childhood with dejected memories.
Sometimes the poor child faces an extreme
cruelty beyond his endurance which results in the complete destruction of his
conscience. He fails to consider the good side of world and walks over the
shadowed lanes from where the return journey is almost impossible. But, history
is evident, there are people who tolerated their dark days with a hope that
soon this wretched nightmare would fade and a new sun would shine with happiness.
And, it did rise.
All
along our life we are linked with many people; some are dears while others are
just for the matter for concerned. Their action ripples across over our lives
and influences us in many ways. Indirectly or directly it affects our scruples
and we judge things with new view. It
affects our reasoning.
Why
does it happen a normal place seems interesting in a photographer’s image? Why
does a poem about a simple phenomenon intrigue us? It’s only matter of viewing
things with a new angle. A photographer captures a moment which everyone
ignores to watch. A poet weaves his imagination through words which others fail
to envision. A painter capsulate his thoughts
which may be normal for others, but when his canvas get coloured with shades of
his imagination, his thoughts becomes matchless.
Indeed,
the beautiful sights are scattered throughout the world, along with man’s
capacity for deriving pleasure from them, are the principal means for
protecting man from becoming completely debased. The pleasure man derives from the
beauty in nature and from the beautiful forms is a bridge to deriving pleasure
from moral beauty.
We
frequently meet people who try to educate us with religious philosophies about
the true knowledge. They claim that
we all are deceived by material illusions, blinded with lies and living a
meaningless life. They always speak about the real beauty. What is this real beauty?
A
small chubby child allured more than an elegant woman. Why? The explanation is
simple. The beauty of child is the beauty of purity of spirit; they act the way
they feel without being influenced by insincerity. There are no put-ons or
pretending. The secret of beauty does not lie in superficial cosmetics, but can
be only acquired from within. Only a beautiful, pure spirit, self inspired can
produce a physical image of angelic beauty. This beauty is complete
synchronization between external and internal, between body and soul. This kind
of beauty does not fade with age or with changes in weight. It is a beauty that
is cultivated inwardly and shines forth.
Life is a precious gift if we
learn the right way to live. It is a valuable jewel if we don’t muddle it with
worries and fake pretensions. Life is indeed an ecstatic journey if we choose
our comrades wisely.
There won’t be another chance,
live it with full extend.
Kya baat hai...nice work bro...
